The proceedings of the International Conference “Applications of Mathematics in Engineering and Economics” (AMEE) is published by American Institute of Physics Conference Proceedings and it is indexed in WoS and SCOPUS with SJR factor. AMEE'25 is part of the unique forum "Science Days of TU-Sofia". This year conference, AMEE'25 will be held under the auspices of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ) recognizes 100 years since the initial development of quantum mechanics.
We will celebrating 100 Years of Quantum Mechanics by organizing the special keynote speaker workshop "Quantum Science and Innovation" with contribution to the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology : Keynote Speaker Workshop “Quantum Science and Innovation” - IYQ 2025.

The Annual Conference Applications of Mathematics in Engineering and Economics is held on June 07 - 13, 2025 at the ancient town of Sozopol. The main goal of this series of conferences is to bring together experts and young talented scientists from Bulgaria and abroad to discuss the modern trends and to ensure exchange of views in various applications of mathematics in engineering, physics, economics, biology, etc. The peer-reviewed contributions of AMEE are published by American Institute of Physics Conference Proceedings. It is indexed in worldwide scientific databases Scopus with SJR factor. The Organizing Committee encourages the taking part of students and postgraduates and organize a separate youth session. The invited lecturers are supposed to organize special sessions. The Organizing Committee stimulates a special discussion concerning the development and use of software innovations in the scientific computing and the student training in this area.
In December 2024, a special awarding ceremony was held at the Sofia Technical University for the most outstanding researchers of the Technical University - Sofia in the past year 2024. The Award "For the most successful scientific forum - AMEE 2024" was presented to Prof. Dr. Eng. Desislava Ivanova.

The last year event, 50th International Conference on "Applications of Mathematics in Engineering and Economics" took place from June 7 to June 13, 2024, in Sozopol under the theme "MATHEMATICSL SCIENCE FOR NEXT NEGENARION TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION." The event featured a highly packed schedule with over 220 participants from five continents and 17 contries worldwide engaging in paper presentations covering a wide range of topics, including quantum technologies, artificial intelligence, software atchitecture, virtual reality (VR), and modern applications of mathematics across various disciplines such as industry, physics, biology, and economics. The AMEE 2024 forum hosted distinguished keynote speakers, including the renowned scientist in software architecture, Prof. david Garlan from Carnegie Mellon University, USA.
